Vicki Stott
Vicki is a higher education quality, strategy, governance and change management specialist who helps providers, sector bodies and other stakeholders in post-compulsory education navigate complex change with integrity and compassion, while protecting standards and student outcomes. She brings together senior executive experience in UK universities with her time as Chief Executive of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the UK and as President of the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies for Higher Education (INQAAHE) globally. Her span of experience gives her a rare view of both insitutional reality and the regulatory landscape.
Over more than three decades in higher education, Vicki has led large, multi-disciplinary teams, overseen major organisational and governance reforms, and advised governments and agencies in the UK and internationally. She is known for translating policy and regulatory requirements into proportionate, workable solutions that support both compliance and strategic ambition.
Through Vicki Stott Ltd, she focuses on helping clients navigate complexity, collaboratively developing solutions delivered with compassion for people. Clients value her calm, politically astute perspective, her ability to ask difficult questions constructively, and the way she builds genuine shared ownership of change with boards, executives, staff and students.
